Hannah Sprung Rolfing
What is Rolfing?
Rolfing is a form of manual therapy, a specific hands- on treatment to the connective tissue that surrounds, supports and penetrates all muscles, bones, nerves and organs. A wholistic approach to remap your body's holding patterns that are causing you pain and restricted movement.
How Long Is A Rolfing® Session?
Sessions are 60 to 75 minutes long which includes assessing your alignment and movement patterns. For most of the time you will be laying on the table while I am working in your tissue applying pressure which can vary from light to more deep and intense. I may ask you for little small movements from time to time creating more and new body awareness.
HOW often do i go?
The most effective results will be achieved going through a 10 series. Recommended to either book a session once or every other week. It’s within the process from integrating the work and shifting from what was perceived the “Norm” into a new relationship with your body and yourself that will bring you a long lasting change, where the body can move through gravity with more ease.
Whether you sign up for a 10 series, one session or a mini series of 3, better alignment tends to release chronic pain and / or stress patterns of movement and posture. Experiencing more options in your body through new body awareness can translate to how we are experiencing ourselves to creating a new body image.
